Summer Euphoria 2.0

For Spring/Summer 2023, JULIE HOUBEN introduces the Summer Euphoria 2.0. collection. Creative director Julie Houben was inspired by the urban city life and countryside of Italy.

The women in the fashion capital Milan stirred her creativity to work with tweed fabrics. For Julie, tweed implies luxury and an elegance that is timeless, as the Julia Jacket and Julia Skirt.

Next to tweed, JULIE HOUBEN brings silk and vegan leather garments in this season’s collection. To work with the best sustainable materials, Julie researches the finest fabrics. The Lou Blazer is a short jacket made from 100% vegan leather – to be paired with the Lou Skirt in ecru.

Two eyecatchers this summer season are the Feather Corset dress in green tweed with an open back and topped with green feathers, and the one-shoulder Marly Silk Dress in 100% purple silk.

In her designs, Julie strives to accentuate the female form and work with prominent details. A perfect example is the Rosi look: the Rosi Silk Top and Rosi Shorts made from vegan leather in pink pastel found its inspiration at Lake Como – romantic and fitted, finished with rhinestone buttons that are handmade in Italy. The same shimmering details are present in the tweed Eli Skirt, perfectly matched with the one-shoulder Elie Silk Top in mintgreen.
