Powerful, elegant, confident – three qualities that define BOSS Womenswear and three words that describe Caro Daur, German entrepreneur. This October, BOSS collaborates with Daur on an exclusive new capsule collection: BOSS curated by Caro Daur.
The collaboration is the result of a longstanding friendship between Daur and Chief Brand Officer, Ingo Wilts. In the year that marks BOSS Womenswear’s 20th anniversary, the pair have looked back through the brand’s archives, reinventing classic pieces to create a one-of-a-kind womenswear capsule.
The collection’s timeless and versatile designs highlight the brand’s heritage of premium fabrics and subtle, intricate detailing. While tailoring remains at its core, the ‘BOSS curated by Caro Daur’ collection also includes elevated essentials, perfect for the modern woman on the go.
“I wanted to design a capsule of womenswear staples,” says Daur. “There’s merit in investing in timeless pieces that are built to last and work for any occasion.”
The capsule is comprised of 15 pieces and two accessories. These reworked classics include, a loose-fitting trench coat made from stretch-cotton twill, a classic black dress with a high neck and open back, and a single-breasted blazer with peak lapels. Accessories include a knitted beanie, spun from wool and naturally warm cashmere, and sophisticated long line gloves in super-soft leather. A muted elegance runs throughout, with pieces presented in neutral shades of black, soft cream, and beige.
