Supporting young emerging artists and celebrating the power of different perspectives.
As Baum und Pferdgarten launches their Pre-Autumn 2020 collection, they’ve also created an online art gallery to support emerging talent. Baum und Pferdgarten has teamed up with 7 artists who’ve created original pieces inspired by the new collection.
The PF20 collection, named “Back to Back”, draws inspiration from the unique creative partnership between two artists who lived and worked in Hamptons in the late 1950’s; Jane Wilson and Jane Freilicher. As close friends they worked “side by side or back to back” painting the same subjects but producing very different results in line with their own personal style. Now, Baum und Pferdgarten has asked this group of up-and-coming creative talents to give their take on the collection, each in their individual and unique manner.

A variety of artists are taking part from illustrators, painters to a glass artist and a paper artist.
The online art gallery at baumundpferdgarten.com/back-to-back will firstly launch with one artist, and will gradually grow to include the works from all the artists over the coming month of July.
All participating artists will also get the opportunity to display their other work in the gallery to promote further awareness of their talent. The site will direct interested buyers directly to the individual artist or their gallerist who will also handle any potential transactions completely independently from Baum und Pferdgarten.
Baum und Pferdgarten wants to take this opportunity to promote emerging artists and give them a platform to display, and hopefully sell, their works.
